Reports: Russian Ballistic Missile Fails in Test
September 28, 2011MOSCOW (AP) — Russia’s military says an experimental intercontinental ballistic missile has failed during a test launch.
Russian news agencies quoted the military’s Space Forces spokesman Col. Alexei Zolotukhin as saying that Tuesday’s launch from the northern Plesetsk launch pad was part of testing of a new series of missiles. India Test Fires 2 Nuclear-capable Missiles
March 11, 2011India has tested two versions of its short-range missiles capable of carrying both conventional and nuclear warheads, a defense ministry official said Friday.
The first missile was test fired from a navy warship in the Bay of Bengal off the coast of eastern Orissa state, said defense ministry spokesman Sitanshu Kar.
An hour later, a second short-range missile was tested. The nuclear-capable surface-to-surface Prithvi missile was fired from India’s missile testing range at Chandipur, also in Orissa, the defense ministry said.

Nuclear-capable Agni-II Missile Test-fired Successfully

India successfully tested its intermediate-range nuclear-capable ballistic missile – Agni II. Data and parameters of the test are being analyzed.
Nuclear-capable Agni-II missile, with a range of 2000 km, was on Monday successfully test-fired by the Army as part of user trial from the Wheelers Island off Orissa coast.
The trial was conducted from a rail mobile system in Launch Complex-4 of Integrated Test Range (ITR) at around 9.15 am, defence sources said soon after the versatile surface-to-surface missile blasted off.
