The U.S. Missile Defense Agency (MDA) successfully completed a ground test involving several distributed Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) elements. MCLEAN, Va., Sept. 7, 2011 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ — Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) announced today it was awarded a competitive indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract by the U.S. Missile Defense Agency (MDA) to provide advisory and analytical services in support of the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS). The multiple-award contract has a five year period of performance with a not to exceed ordering contract ceiling value of $281 million for all awardees, if all options are exercised.
